After noticing an unexpected and poorly named Installer.DMG on my desktop, I started investigating, which brought me to /private/tmp and the discovery of all these Google plug-in files. I’m hoping this cleanup will have the added benefit of fixing the periodic problems I experience with Google Hangout (in both Firefox and Chrome on Mac OS X).
